Planning for the IDLS 2026 demonstrations is now underway. The German military intend to play a leading role in both the planning and execution of this year’s demonstration activities.
This year we are looking to bring a new approach to the IDLS 2026 demonstration.
The concept is to build demonstrations based around an operations room environment and training scenarios.
Our intentions are that if you are considering entering kit into the demonstrations, you will be a assigned your own station with a large screen above it. Each demonstration will be provided a military operator who will demonstrate the scenario to the audience and the company representative will be on hand to supply supporting information.
To ensure that the operators feel confidence with the commitment, anyone committing to join the demonstration will need to be available on the Sunday and Monday prior to IDLS to train the operator on the equipment.
To support the development, we require confirmation by May 7th 2026 from industry partners who wish to participate, along with a summary of the key element they plan to showcase.

Our aim this year is to have military operators manning the various demonstration stations. To ensure they are fully prepared to showcase your equipment effectively, you MUST be in Dresden prior to the start of IDLS2026 to provide operator familiarisation.
